Get in the...what?

<Red Circle>

No, seriously. WTH is that supposed to mean?

The first time a Lava Annihilator goes charging crazily off in random directions after someone, and 39 other people yell over TeamSpeak: "Get your aggroing butt into the red target circle!"...you'll understand. It was an ode to our MC drinking game. :)

What's the deal with Stormreaver Clan?

<SrC> is a multi-purpose gaming clan of about 15 RL friends who have been playing together for over a decade now. When it came time to choose between end-game raid content or the close-knit community that we had cultivated for so long, we chose both and thus formed <Red Circle>, a WoW-specific raiding guild unlike any other.

What makes <Red Circle> so special?

It's simple. We value the RL person behind the toon and put people first, always. At this stage in the game, one can pretty much get free epic loot anywhere, but very few guilds make a habit of going out for drinks after a raid or know the first name of every one of their guildmates.

Having said that, why are we here?

Current Status:

  • TK: Currently working on Void Reaver
  • SSC: The Lurker Below down.
  • Zul'aman: clear! We're currently perfecting our timed runs.
  • Gruul's Lair: clear!
  • Karazhan: clear!

Immediate Goals:

  • Organize regular 10 man raids to involve more guild members in raids and gear newer players up.
  • Kill Void Reaver and continue to make progress in Serpentshrine Cavern.

Long-Term Goals:

  • To build an extensive resources network and cohesive raiding team that can function independently of who is (or without anyone) leading. This means everyone in the guild working together, well enough to the point where raid leaders and officers need do little more than coordinate the start times.
  • Regarding PUGs: For our members who prefer not to raid, we would like to have enough competent, nice players online at any given moment that no one ever need resort to Ironforge general chat.
  • Have an old-fashioned, butt-kicking good time and hopefully make a few new friends along the way!

Member Expectations

Performance:
Performance will be tracked carefully and watched. Basically, just do as your class officer(s) and the raid leader asks. Some classes' roles will change from fight to fight, and it is expected that all raid members will know their role in any given fight. If you have a question as to your job in any given situation, you can either refer to the fight specifics as posted in our guides, or ask a raid officer.

The raid leader or class officers will be talking with anyone whose performance is consistently not up to par, and try to address the issue. If the same problem persists, said player will be moved over to an Alternate list. The alt list will be used to fill empty slots on raids and to fill out Secondary runs when they become possible.

Conduct:
<Red Circle> is not a babysitting service. Please use common sense and treat one another, as well as all other players, with respect. Ninja looting, griefing, and just plain outright annoying personal immaturity will not be tolerated. If we receive credible information (e.g. screenshots), you may be removed summarily, regardless of tenure or status.

In-Game Issues:
Any officer, especially your class lead(s), should be able to address guild or personal issues that may arise. Final say, however, rests with the GM, and you are welcome to bring any concerns to him directly.

Readmittance:
Members who have left the guild may choose to reapply. However, readmission to the guild will require 100% officer approval.
